Finally settled in....

We just moved to Ottawa...for my American buddies it's the capital city of Canada.

I looooooooooooooove it here~ The city has a romantic/rustic feel to it which is wonderful. My daughters are diggin' their new school. Thank goodness I had them in French school all their lives, because Ottawa is majority French speaking. I understand it pretty well but have some trouble speaking it :-s

As for Robbie...he is huge! About 22lbs now...and he is long! He is a pretty good baby, eating rice cereal twice a day because the doctor said he just wasn't getting enough. As for sleeping...he still won't sleep in his crib...doctor said to just leave him be, he'll grow out of it. HOPE SO, CAUSE IT DRIVES ME BONKERS!! He will sleep from 8 or 9pm and wake up anyhere between 5 & 7am. Not bad, can't complain there. He laughs, says Mama a lot and loves his exersaucer. Robbie is very skilled with his hands..grabbing toys, rattles, pretty much anything! He also sits up on his own if you hold his hands for him to pull himself up!

I also had my tubes tied during my casarean. I have been experiencing Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome something awful. Flooding with my periods, hair loss (thinning on the sides), sporadic cramping. Anyone else heard of or experiencing this? I have been told that it is due to loss of estrogen from isolating the ovaries and that hormone therapy treatment or a reversal can help this....??!?! I really think Doctors should tell women what the risks/dangers are of getting this surgery done. I sooooo wish that I didn't get it done...but I knew I didn't want anymore kids---such a loss!

On a lighter note.....Here's a pic of my chunky butt from St. Patrick's Day...I hope all you Mama's have been well and are enjoying every second with your babies, they grow way too fast!!
