| 15-4-2009 - How's everyone doing? New Pics... | My mood while writing this blog:Excited |
So how was Easter??!!!
We had a wonderful holiday. I got to see my husband's family which I haven't seen in 7 years. Introduced the L'il man and and my girls who are a lot bigger since they they seen them last! Everyone is very welcoming and warm. I do have to brush up on my French though..I understand what they are saying but sound funny as hell speaking it!
Robbie has started talking....or at least he thinks he is LMAO. He is a SCREAMER!! Robbie thinks that screaming is a form of communication...not even my daughters screamed like this LOL. Very cute. He is trying to sit up on his own now and holding his bottle periodically. He loves to go out shopping, walks, or just sitting outside and watching his sisters play.
As for sleeping....LOL, since birth this boy has given us a hard time. First he would only sleep in his car seat. We broke that habit. Now he will sleep in his crib for a few hours at a time before fussing for me to come and bring him in my room. He is pretty fussy when he is in my bed too...but I noticed he wakes himself up a lot. Robbie rubs his eyes like crazy...even if I cut his nails all the way down...he'll pull at his ears or scratch himself up. I've tried the whole swaddling thing..but this boy is huge, 25lbs @ 5 months!! So swaddling is out of the question because he just busts out of the blanket in 2 seconds. Suggestions ladies? Anyone else have a little one that is fussy off and on through the night. I mean he will fall back asleep fast once I get him his soother and will sleep from 8pm until 6/6:6:30am---but wakes up every now and then. I am wondering if maybe time will help again, soon he will be able to pick up his own soother and put it back in his mouth..but man...got to get him out of my bed....my left arm is permanently asleep!! Again,,open to suggestions of how you all are getting or got your 5 month old to stay in their crib without fussing too much.......
As per my last note about Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome....suprisingly...things have gotten better by 75%!!! The doctor said that it was my body adjusting and that I had only had my THIRD baby 4 months ago...hormones are still wacky. Needless to say...Day 1 was heavy...but the rest of my period was completely normal! Thank God!!! I wanted to cry everyday thinking that I had made the wrong decision. I stll would not recommend the surgery to anyone, unless they are fully informed about the whole procedure and the side effects. *Fingers crossed* I am hoping everything goes smooth from here on out!
Phew...! God bless you all and your sweet sweet little ones! I've enclosed a few pics for you guys. I'll be in touch again soon~ Take it easy Mama's
XOXOXO
