| 22-7-2009 - 21 weeks and sprouting | My mood while writing this blog:hungry |
Well, over the halfway stage and still quite a few niggles to contend with. Cos of carpel tunnel I am barely getting any sleep at night, so I am eating more frequently (and throughout the night) and napping when I can. I am hoping that I dont get any more fainting, and it whacks me out for the following day too!
I thought today, seeing as I have only put on 2lbs so far, I would take my measurements rather than just weigh myself. Looking at myself in the mirror, I think I look like I am ready to drop, but the tape measure doesnt tell any lies!
Yep still hovering at 2-3lbs gain, but BB's gone from 44 to 47 (no wonder those bras were feeling tight!), waist gone (literally disappeared!) from 36 to 48 and hips have stayed the same at 43.
Nope, nowhere near "dropping" girth yet. Although my waist is larger than my BB's there is still plenty of room for expansion. With my last one at 41 week +5days my waist was a whopping 60" with BB's at 50 something, I jokingly said another two inches as she would have made me as round as I was tall (i'm 5ft 2). Mind you, housing a 9lb 6oz baby, something had to give, and my waistline volunteered!
Has anyone else taken starting measurements yet? I hope I am not the only one. I would like to hear how every one else is getting on
