I am home again with another thing to add to the list. Good news first, Zach's heartbeat is within normal range and fluctuates which indicates when he is moving and dozing, the midwifery team believes because of the large volume of water around him it is cushioning and also affects the use of my home fetal monitor because they are not designed to go through such large amniotic fluid volumes.Bad news, I have irritable uterus, not braxton hicks contractions, which means that I have something else that's likely to bring on pre-term labour. I have been giving my own set of straps for use on the hospital tracing machine. Once I have seen the Consultant on Friday, the midwifery team will be put Zach on the tracing machine at least twice a week to keep and eye on his progress. I have been told to ring L&D ward 24 hrs a day , whenever I feel concerned about his absence of movement and heartbeat on home monitor, or if the pain of my contractions goes beyond the level they are nowSo until Friday at least, they are going to let Zach brew a little longer!

I am about to leave for Zach's monitoring, he has been really sluggish cos I cant hardly feel him moving at all, but it could be due to all the extra amniotic fluid cushioning his movements.
If they think its too risky they'll whip him out today, or if I can hold off to Friday then we get to plan it like a military campaign.
