| 03-11-2009 - Last Blog before C Section - 36 + 0 days | My mood while writing this blog:see ya on the other side! |
Well ladies, this is it! The last blog before it all kicks off.
Tomorrow is a busy day with bloods to be done at 9 heart tracing at 11, meeting with anathestist at 1 and somewhere in between the ob consultant and diabetic consultant will come and find, then hook me up and pump me full of insulin all night long ready for kick off on Thursday.
I have been surpressing the nesting urge very severely, I think it is worse this time than with a natural delivery where you really don't know how much time you have. DH has been ordering me back to bed every 5 minutes or so it seems.
I am waiting on DH to take me to have my hair trimmed and eyebrows waxed in a little while, as I feel a bit "Wolverine" like. I have decided to add a can of Dry Shampoo Spray to my labour bag, so I can just spray and brush until I am steady enough on my feet to stand in the shower and get away with using the bidet for the first couple of days.
DD2 is going to bring in a set of straightners to hospital to tame the frizz before I get any tech savvy visitors. I don't want photos of Zach and me looking like death plastered all over the internet to come back to when I get home.
Anyway, if I wasnt having the C section on Thursday, I dont think I would have long. My belly has really dropped low, I have lost a couple of pounds and TMI!!! I have had a good clearout and not a laxative in sight!

I might pack my trusty tapemeasure in my hospital bag, just for giggles, the weighing scales would be a bit OTT! Curious to see just how much baby and waters have been occupying before my body gets to work on shifting the rest of it once I start breastfeeding.
Well, good luck girlies, lost of labour and section dust, and of course baby dust for my ladies TTC! Looking forward to catching up with you all again on the other side!
xxxxxxxxxx
