31-7-2008 - IF YOU HAVE A GOOD MAN

My mood while writing this blog: EXCITED

HEY LADIES,

I just had to write this blog today. I receieved a text from a friend that broke my heart. She told me that the father of her child was acting out. (In a really horrible way) Now this is not anything new to anyof us reading this blog including me wrtiting it.( Just the acting out part)

We are all quick to jump all over our men/significant others/baby daddies when they irk our last good nerve. ME included! Cause I can slap a stone wall up in a minute ,if I am irritated. I have a question for you. When is the last time you paid that GOOD man, that GREAT man a compliment? Told him that you loved him. Patted him on the back for something small that you do everyday, but it was a big deal when he did it. Men like compliments too. They want to be appreciated. Sure, most are not emotional or even talkative. Hell, even prideful most times. Still, they do feel. They want to know that we appreciate them "trying" A kiss,hug , some unscheduled mommy & daddy time alone, watching HIS favorite sport. He won't know what to do with himself. It will be like you all just met. Make him a book of romantic coupons or his favorite dinner. Keep at it! A baby is a big change for a couple, no matter how many you have! We women want to be pampered as we were when we were carrying our sweetfaced little angel. Think about how that little angel got in there. lol (He was great at that moment)

I try to make it a point to thank Kendal for being there for me. Let him know he is the man. (insert funny face here) Seriously, to thank him for being there for me when I didn't want to show up for myself some times. May the force be with you and enjoy that man! If you don't have one ...treat whomever is your rock!
