| 14-9-2009 - Should I let him stay~~Help me Ladies!!!!! |
My mood while writing this blog: anxious!!! |
Ok so Cedrique has asked me can he stay over the house for a little while so he can help take care of the babies and I said yes, but now IDK I mean I know that he and Kenni cant mess around since she just had the babies, but still. I mean I guess I am still upset at him for the whole jail incident and not calling me, but these are his children and he should be responbible for them. He doesnt have a car, and his folks wont bring him to the house and he cant walk, because he lives on the other side of town now like 30-45 minutes away, so I said yea. As fas as I know him and Kenni are still not together he justs wants to be there for the babies, but Im not stupid he stay there long enough, something is bound to happen btwn the two of them, so I dont know, Im torn Do you ladies think I made the right decision by saying yes he can stay for his kids?
Help me please!!!!!

Thursday, 17 Sep They are both really young and that might not be the right thing to do. I don't really know how to answer this question. But if you feel that it's right, then go ahead and let him stay. If you don't feel that it's right, then find out other ways where he can see the twins. BEAUTYFULMOMMY -
Tuesday, 15 Sep I..agree..with..renee! Jmajor-payne -
Monday, 14 Sep I agree with Renee with setting ground rules and once they are broken he gotta go!! Sorry but u can come by to see ur kids Im pretty sure he has friends with cars...yes its nice to help with his kids but he needs a JOB first becuz nothing comes free in this world not even the air we breath so once he get himself established then maybe he can visit more often but a 2 week period and sleeping on the couch...open door policies apply the only door that closes is the bathroom and that all he would get for now, what about his 2 other babies what is he doing with them? Dont look like he helping with them much...Good Luck...and be strong! ( I still think thats too many ppl in your household) Did u ask Kieron what he thinks? DiVERSE1008 -
Monday, 14 Sep i think it was a good ideal to at least let him stay for the first 2 weeks. me and my baby father arent together anymore but hes goin to be doin the same thing. the way i see it is they are doing it for their children... trying to step up and show some kind of responsibility. give him a chance. if wants to be there for the kids you should let him. not alot of dudes care now days. reneeandbaby -
Monday, 14 Sep No, he should not be staying in your house with your 14 year old sister. If you do let him stay it should only be for 2 weeks. There should be rules like no closed doors etc. What he has been doing with your sister is ileagel and he should be in jail. Your sister is not even 16 years old this man is almost 21 years old. Your sister is still a child. She may have kids but she is still a child with kids. How can he be in a relationship with a chid and he is suppose to be an adult. It is not an equal relationship this is why there is a law stating that you have to be a certain age to date. You should tell him that after two weeks that he needs to go home. I remember in one of your blogs where you said that your sister wanted him to move in with you guys. I think that this is an attempt to get him in the house so that he can stay and never leave. You have open yourself to major trouble and because she is still consider to be a minor you can get in trouble with the police for allowing this to go on in your home. You want to be her legal gaurdian and a social worker will look at this in a bad way. You should put him out of your home before you get in trouble. If your mother wanted to make a big deal out of it she could and you would also be in trouble. LadiiHollywood -

Monday, 14 Sep You made the right decision by saying yes. The minute he screws up he has burned his bridge though. It is great that he is making an effort to be there for his kids. I hope he does right. laddgirl -
Monday, 14 Sep I agree with the other ladies. ONE CHANCE. I also agree with what "tquinn" said. Encourage him as he helps out. Though men don't often show it...a little bit of encouragement goes a long way. I would stress to him finding a job. If it's full time, part time, or shift...whatever it is. You're gonna need the bill help. He also need to step. It takes money to support kids. Being there is great...money provides the bread. He may need to swallow his pride and get an honest job to help out. McDonalds is forever looking for people. I'm being real....not funny. I've learned to do what I got to keeping my home together. All of you be blessed. Congrats to you and Kenni again. sportybutterfly -
Monday, 14 Sep i mean, he does say that he wants to be there for his children, so I guess you can give him a chance. You can have him not sleep in your sister's room. I know its prob not going to prevent anything, but you can make it difficult for them to have sex. hope everything works out.. SuperHeroMom -
Monday, 14 Sep I agree with everyone else. Give him a chance. And he still needs to find a job to support the babies. How is Kenni and the twins? *Summer Babies* -
Monday, 14 Sep I think it was a good Idea to let him stay.. Like you said those are his babies and he should be responsible for them.. But I would only give him one chance.. If he messes up once I would show him the door... Good Luck! tquinn -
Monday, 14 Sep He should get one chance, make it very clear that one wrong move and out he goes. While he is there help him understand that God gives children as gifts and that he is their birth dad so he needs to make smart decisions and really focus on the babies health, love, and attention. Make sure you tell him that you have faith in him to do good things. Sometimes a person can feel like a failure if no one has faith in them. But again one chance, no drugs or alchohol and must try to help out in the home as well as maybe looking for a job. Always keep one eye open. starburst7987 -
Monday, 14 Sep I think its a good decision to let him to stay and help with babies.Just let him know that if you find out if they mess around then hes out. But I think its great that he is helping out with the babies! How are the babies doing?
