28-9-2009 - Time for potty training for Cam...any advice?? And something else I totally wasnt expecting

My mood while writing this blog: hopeful

So I think its time for potty training for Cam. I'm not going to lie. I am scared because I didnt have to be the sole trainer who potty trained my older 3 because my aunt was the one who took it upon herself to train them, but I know that it is now time for cam to learn. For the past few days, I would find his diaper off and it would be soaked and sometimes he had a tendecy to waive it in the air while saying mama and laughing so I know it is that time, but Idk where to begin...HELP!!!

Also, I get a text from my sister on last night and she asked if she could come stay with me after next week, because my mother is getting evicted from her apartment for being 2 months behind on the rent and that she has no where else to go. Apparently my mother has took it upon herself to tell the girls she is moving in with her man (the same one that got her pregnant a few months back and caused her to miscarry becuase he decided to drive drunk and wreck the car) and she is not bringing any kids with her, now mind you I have two little brothers who are 8 and 10 . I would take them in before my sisters, I mean they are grown and I am not going to risk losing my home and getting it destroyed by my sisters, so I told her no. I feel bad but they are not my responsibility. They talked bad about me when I started taking care of Kenni and now they need me to take care of them, plus Istill have not forgotten how they covered up for my mama when she lied about me giving my girls away, so I figure there is always a shelter open. I refuse to get back on this rollercoasrter with them. The past month has been wonderful w/o them in our life and I dont need them ruining what I have worked so hard to build.

On another note, construction to my house is as of now planningto be staerted the week after next. I havent gotten the loan yet, but a talk woth the home owners association in my neighborhood said that I could add on to the house as long it didnt surpass the gates that bordered my house away from the others. I choose next week, because i will be returning to work and I wont be in the way or be disturbed by them. I know its not good timing for Kenni and the babies, but I was told it wouldnt harm them, so I decided to go ahead with it.

Starting Wednesday Cam and Jhia will be starting day care, thanks to the assistance from the state, I was a bit embarrassed at first, but now I couildnt find it more helpful.
