My mood while writing this blog: snoozey but good

I'm having a boy!! I knew from when I was 12 weeks that I was having a boy... I just had that intuition.. I remember looking at these cute teddy bears with rattles in their heads with my aunt and she was showing me the pink ones an I didn't bother to look, I went straight for the blue one =] and I just had such a strong feeling it was a boy I jumped the gun and bought it for myself. LOL My boyfriend and I had no trouble at all picking out a name for our son... I promised myself I wouldn't pick out names until I knew the gender but I got excited one night and went online and look anyway and the name Avery JUMPED right out of the screen to me !! I wasn't even reading the names (I was looking on this unique baby name site and they were just all so rediculous!) My eyes scanned the names while I was going to the menu bar and it went over the name and subconsiously I read the name and I had to take a double look.. lol and I read the name and fell in love! I told my boyfriend and he fell in love too.. so we didn't do anymore searching after that. I had a few girl names I liked but he never agreed.....

When I told him it was a boy he didn't show any intial respons... he knew all along it was a boy... he claims he only makes boys LOL (he has 3 brothers, no sisters and a nephew) but I can tell he's really happy and excited :) NOW WE CAN FINALLY START SHOPPING!! WOOOO =D

So, the first name is Avery. We decided that, since his dads name is Wayne Clarke and my uncle on my moms side is Wayne Clarke (it's weird I know lol but Clarke is such a common last name) that our son will be named Avery Wayne Clarke.

I'm so excited to meet my son for the very first time and hold him in my arms and look into his eyes and finally be able to kiss his face and feel his skin and listen to his cries and I'm just so excited I cannot ask for anything more. The greatest accomplishment in my life is being a mommy.. although I'm not one yet I know that it will be the greatest thing in the entire world. Mommy can't wait to meet you Avery! <3
