20-2-2009 - Addisyn's 4 day doctor apt happy nowMy mood while writing this blog:

Wedensday Feb 18th we went to Addy's first doctors apt... her head was 35 cm and is in the 50 percentile, her height was 21 3/4 inches and in the 95 percentile, and her weight was 7lbs 10 oz which was in the 50 percentile. at birth she was 8lbs 7oz and when she was discharged monday she weighed 7lbs 12.5 oz. so they were a little concerned with how much weight she had lost... they didnt want her to lose a pound from her birth weight... which was only 3 oz away... so they told me that they wanted me to come back the next day to make sure that she didnt lose any more weight... or else we would have to find an alternative way of feeding... i did not want to do that... as much as it hurts right now, i LOVE breastfeeding! so we went home and FINALLY my milk came in... and when we went back to the doctors the next day she gained 4oz over night!!! and ever since shes been feeding great!
