17-3-2009 - 1 month PP (+belly pic) great!My mood while writing this blog:

well this is a little delayed... saturday was my 1 month pp... and baby addy was 1 month old!!! so far things have been going pretty good... she is still only waking up once or twice a night!!! and i love it! i love being able to be at home with her all day... she really only has one hour a day of fussy time... which is nice for me... daddy still gets up at night with her to change her and then i feed her and he goes back to sleep... i looked through all of her 1st month pictures... and oh my goodness how much shes changed!!! it's kind of sad...

breastfeeding has gotten hard... it turns out she has thrush.... its a yeast infection that she has in her mouth... and when she bf it makes it feel like a really bad burning and itching feeling in and on my BB... its been to the point where i would sit there and bawl... and not take her off because she needs to eat... finally i called the doctor and they put us on some meds... and within two weeks it's sopposed to get a lot better... i can already tell a difference... so i BF about 3 times a day... and then i pump and give her a bottle... and i also have to suppliment with formula... something i was so against for some reason... but its all working... and were getting better.

as far as me... i feel as though ive healed really well... next thurs is my 6week checkup... i hope he says that it's ok to do the "deed"... lol... i think while i was prego we did the deed like 7 times maybe... i know poor man... i felt bad... but i always hurt down there... and now im ready again!!! other than everything with this thrush... ive been feeling really good... still have a crap load of weight to lose... but i understand that its going to take time... but ive lost 35lbs so far... if i can lose 35 more ill be happy... now that its starting to get nice out i can go for walks...
