| 19-10-2009 - ***WEIGHT- LOSS JOURNAL*** | My mood while writing this blog:good |
this blog will be my "journal" ill be writing in here every now and then about how im feeling and what im all doing... this will also me updated all the time... feel free to take a look when ever you would like!
ONE WEEK:
so its been one week since i started to work out... and ive lost 2 lbs!!! it doesn't seem like much... but hey its something... and i know its not going to come off all at once... i do 2/ 30 min work outs a day... which comes out to about 3 miles a day... there's a weight-loss program on my treadmill that i do twice a day... i burn about 450-500 cal a day... and i write down EVERYTHING i eat! i love working out again... i used to run a mile a day (pre prego! lol) and now i cant even run a mile... so im doing interval programs that change incline and pace on the treadmill... friday i did 3 miles at once because we were leaving early in the morning... the first half was really pushing me... but the second half went better than the first! lol... but im excited to be working out again! i was afraid that i was going to start but just give up right away like i used to... but i swear... if you can get through the first week... week and a half... its not bad... its now part of my routine... i hope all of you who are wanting to lose some weight will give it a try... and you can join my journey through this... angelajay and I are keeping blogs about everything and how were doing! Now im off to do my first 30 min of working out... :)
1 MONTH AND 10 DAYS!
Alright so its been just about a month and a half... i will admit... ive been slacking a tad bit the past week... but im back at it... i have a goal to do AT LEAST a 5K Sept 2010 in Chicago... and who knows... if i keep it up i just might bump that up to the half marathon! that is my ULTIMATE goal... but i dont want to be upset if i cant make it... so i would be so proud of myself to even do the 5K... other than my slacking off last week ive been pumping up my workouts a bit... i usually do 2/ 1 hour long workouts! this morning i just ran a mile... and i have already cut down my time from 14 min 30 sec to 12 min 30 sec... but i remember about 3 1/2 months ago i tried running a mile and it took me 16 or 18 min!!! so ill take the 12 min! lol....
Another thing... i bought in to getting the Gold Gyms Waist Trimming Belt... you put it around your belly when you work out... and it makes you sweat like a mad woman!!! i used it today and when i took it off sweat was EVERYWHERE!!! i bought it at wal-mart for $5... it claims to make you lose water weight through sweating it off... ive read reviews about it thing and people have lost an inch - two inches within a week! so lets hope! put its so comfy!!! lol... i hoping to be able to fit into my "cute" jeans by Christmas! lets all hope! lol...
anyways... hope all is going well all of you... and for all those who said they wanted to lose weight i hope you're sticking to it... its not easy... but it will be SO worth it!
