26-4-2009 - baby daddy drama

My mood while writing this blog:

First lemme say I hope all is going well with everyone. Right now I don't really know how I feel. Some of you remember my blog Drama....well to recap it talks about how much of an idiot my baby's father is. Well the good news is he finally told his mom I was preggo so that ended some of the drama....but I guess because today he calls and I haven't heard from him since I was like 3mo pregnant(oh and im going on my 6 mo now) I was a lil pissed. I have changed my cell # and never gave it to him and I'm just wondering how did he get my #. I don't call him and if I do it goes straight to vm and I never leave a message. Now him and my baby bro are very close but I know he didn't give him my # because he hasnt answered his phone for me to give it to him. (and for those of you wondering my bro is 21 and bd is 25) I guess what I'm trying to say is that when I talked to him I kinda miss him. Apart of me wants to see him and the other part is like fuck him....It's wierd how you go to college get a degree and yet you decide to hook up with a "thug" for awhile and boom get pregnant. I guess I'm asking whats next? Do I fall for his BS...or keep doing what I'm doing? He always says how not to worry and that he's going to be around but I don't want my son to have a part time dad. I had one and even though I came out on top doesn't mean I didn't miss having a father in my life. I can definetly say that my child will be loved not just by me but grandparents and my many friends. i'm def in the same boat- i dumped him, changed my #'s, no contact in almost 2 mths, and struggling with the idea of him being a part-time dad (PTD). I know it's hard but you have to really ask urself (and b prepared for the answer) what u want. Do u want to be with him or do u want to allow him to be PTD? either way, u have to accept the behavior/attitude that comes along with it. Three mths isn't time for him to make any serious changes within himself...not to say he can't...

if u feel strong enuff to handle the BS and realize that it may be bcuz ur preg and want the dad around- go with it...but talk with him first. c where his head is at...and see him for who he is (we neva want to accept what a person tells us or omit) and read btwn the lines...

and don't forget to pray on it...meditate on it...and rely on ur family n friends for support. that's what they're there for!

I don't know you.. But I would def \. keep doing what you're doing... I fell into that BS with a "thug" and they will continue to play around like that =/ Them type of guys aren't even enough to waste your time with!! But I wish you the best of luck mami!! =]
