07-6-2009 - Baby Shower

My mood while writing this blog:
confused

First lemme say hope all is well with everyone. I'm having an arguement with my mom and my bff(best friend) about the date of the shower. I'm not trying to help plan it but I am trying to decide on a date. I would like it to be in July possibly july 11th but that interfers with some other stuff I have going on. Lets see in july you have the 4th which I dont wanna do it then...my lil sis birthday is the 7th and my moms bday is the 13th my cuz graduation party and the black expo is the 18th and I have to sing in my god-brother's wedding the 24th. Now that pretty much takes up the enitre mo of july(sat). would it be to close if I did it the 1st weekend in Aug. which would be the 1st of aug. my due date isn't til aug 23rd. Is that too close. Just lookin for some advice.

Hey there, hope all is well. My shower is on the 26th, its supposed to be a surprise but my boyfriend slipped up. Not to pleased its on a Sunday but since I'm not planning I have no say....lol!!!
Have you thought about the 25th of July. I don't think the 1st would be bad. I am going to my friends shower this Saturday the 13th and her due date is June 29th. I figure as long as you give yourself time to pick up any extra things that you may not recieve and to wash and clean al clothes and extras then ur good. Hope that helped some, have a great rest of the week:)

hey hun, i was due Aug 11 and had my shower july 26 so it wasnt to bad, Eric came Aug 18th though lol If it were me i'd go for Aug 1st caz it's less stress for u with everything happening in July. Caz u will so busy and worrying for the shower. it would be easier for everyone else too i think if u do aug 1st. thats what i think but it's up to u. good luck!

Hey soror, I dont think August !st would be too late. But if you want to be able to have ample time to buy whatever you didnt receive at the shower I would have the 11th of July like you said. Hope I didnt make it worse.
