29-6-2009 - Update

My mood while writing this blog: Hopeful as always

I've missed you all!! We've been so busy running around that I haven't had time to properly log on and read everyone's blogs and notes but I'll catch up I hope hehe

I feel like a human pin cushion!! For the last month and a half just about every two weeks I've had blood drawn. Two (2) separate FSH (egg quality) tests and 14 tubes while I was fasting (almost passed out). Twice now, what should have been one needle blood draws have turned into two. *sigh* but I made it through!!! The fertility doctor wanted to do another FSH in his office (instead of the other lab) because he said his lab could break the test down even further to make sure. So now we have two different cycle FSH tests and he said the numbers from his office tests were better than he expected.

Tom, bless his heart, did all his required tests too. He's such a trooper and I couldn't ask for a better husband.

Today we did our last test today......the Sonohistogram. They put a catheter up into the uterus, inject a solution to open the uterus up and do an ultrasound to check the "cavity" lol Well it sounds more painful than it actually is.

We have our final consultation on Wednesday and will know what course of action we'll be taking.
