Good morning :-) I'm sorry for the prior blank blog but I decided I was too down and not positive enough so I deleted the post.
As for the retrieval, he was able to retrieve 4 eggs. At first I was sooo down in the dumps, but as some wonderful friends reminded me.. it only takes one to make a beautiful baby.
The doctor phoned today to say 3 had fertilized properly and we're probably looking at Monday or Tuesday as a transfer day. I'm both excited and nervous. I really wanted more eggs but it only takes one right? The doctor will call back on Saturday with an update on the 3 fertilized eggs and we'll decide then if we'll have a second retrieval. He seemed very positive that we wouldn't need it.
