YAY!!!!!!! That is awesome news! Oh I love that I get all this good news in my profile in the morning. YAY!!!!! I want to cry with you. This is all so wonderful and I know you are still cautious, but I cannot help to be completely over excited for you. *jump up and hug you ten times over*. Yay for you!!! I understand how excited and happy u are because I had my first u/s today too and the hb was at 184! the little alien was moving around a lot and I am 10 weeks on sturday. Isnt it such a relief! Let me know how the next appointment goes! btw are u having m/s?

I go 3 times a week to check on babies heart beat- and its the most comforting sound in the world - I love it!!

"old age specialist"? I hope your OB didnt call them that? Are you going to see a perinatologist, who specialises in high risk pregnancies? I am going soon to one and can't wait...my OBs office gives me barely any support and it's scary with twins. So exciting you got to hear the heartbeat, yay! It's the best :-) Lots of stickydust to you! Take things REAL slow, OK?

I received a wonderful surprise today.. We went to the regular OB to get established and she measured the baby (measuring perfectly on time) and we got to hear the heartbeat!!!
I cried.. I was so surprised and excited. I was just expecting the normal pap and history and all that stuff and got much more!
Up next.. meeting the old age (I only feel old sometimes!) specialist and next appointment is on March 16 to be released from the fertility clinic which is still scary sounding to me lol
