31-3-2009 - hospital visit

My mood while writing this blog: okay

So I finally gave in and went to the hospital to get everything checked out with the back pain and pain in the lower abdomen. I figured everything was okay but it made me nervous anyway. When I got there they couldn't decide whether to send me to the regular ER or up to Labor and Delivery. From what I understood, after 20 weeks they are to send you up to L&D but they couldn't decide whether my pain was baby related...well, duh it's baby related lol. So anyway, they finally sent me up and hooked me up to monitor the baby's heartbeat. I don't think my little one liked it cause she kicked the monitor (and moved it!! lol) and then moved away from it...so the nurse had to keep moving it around to get her heartbeat. Anyway, after everything was said and done they determined that it's just round ligament pains....but it definitely was not a wasted trip because I got to listen to my baby's heartbeat for over an hour and listen to her move around in there and also got peace of mind that everything is okay with her and she's fine...which makes me so happy!!! Anyway, I thought I'd let you all know =] Hope you are all doing great as well!!!
