08-7-2009 - anybody else??

My mood while writing this blog:

You know how everyone says, "Get all the sleep you can get before the baby comes."?? Well, I'm just wondering....How can I do that?? Every night I go to sleep and if I'm not waking up every five min to turn over (cause it hurts to lay on one side too long), then I'm getting up to go to the bathroom or get something to drink. On top of that, my dreams are so REAL!! I keep dreaming that I'm in the hospital and I'm having the baby and I wake up freaking out cause I think the baby is coming out lol. Strange, I know. Anybody else experiencing this?? I think I'd rather her be here waking me up every now and then from an actual 'good sleep' than this. Lol. It feels like I don't sleep at all. Anyway, hope you ladies are doing fabulous!!

oh wow i know exactly how you are feeling! and the dreams are so real... almost wish i would wakd up and they would be true then i could be done with this pregnancy thing LOL

Oh I know exactly what you mean. I posted a comment on everyone's page not too long ago talking about how when I was pregnant people would say things like "sleep now!" but i'm so much happier not being pregnant because even though there's less time for me to sleep now, when I do sleep I am out! It's so great to finally experience deep sleep again. Actually, I think this sleep is even better than before I was pregnant lol. So don't listen to people that say that, you'll feel a lot better when you're not so uncomfortable anymore...even if there's a little one waking you up every 2-3 hours :o)

Yeah I hear u - I am getting about 2-3hours sleep a nite & if it's not heartburn or toilet breaks then it's the weirdest dreams I have been having - for example last nite I dreamt & saw someone get stabbed in the neck with a syringe??? WTF, think it may have been something todo with having blood tests the other day & last week I dreamt that I was having the baby & it was so real!! My Mum also says it's natures way of preparing u for the baby but it doesn't make it any easier, I really need some decent sleep! Hope u get as much rest as u can!x

I think you're gonna get a lot of people who can relate on this one. I know exactly what you are talking about! It's perfectly normal though and it's nature's way of preparing us for waking up with the baby. I would say, get all of the "rest" you can right now, lol.
