My mood while writing this blog: worried |
How long did it take after having your baby/babies for you to have your first cycle?? I know it may be TMI but I bled for about four weeks after having my baby girl and haven't had a cycle since then. She will be 9 weeks old on Monday. Oh my goodness, I hope that this could be normal?!! I really hope I'm not pregnant right now. :/

Thursday, 10 Sep if you are b/f you might not get one until you are done b/f... otherwise it may be spotty and irregular for about a year. my OB said to compare it to when you first went through puberty. it was irregular probably and maybe didn't come every month... so it all normal... but be sure to use protection because just because you are not having the period doesnt mean you are not ovulating... dreaelise14 -
Thursday, 10 Sep When I had my first child I nursed him until he was about a year old. When I began weaning him at 11 months old is when I got my period for the first time. Nothing to worry about - just enjoy it & use protection. gixxerbabe08 -

Thursday, 10 Sep I'm having the same problem and my doctor told me it could take up to 6 months to get a cycle. I was a little worried since I had a tubal after my c-section and shouldn't be pregnant! lol As far as I know, it's normal, especially if you are using protection during intercourse. As always, if you are super concerned you can call the doctor. :)
