10-7-2009 - 38 weeks appt

My mood while writing this blog: anxious

Went to 38 week appt today and everything is still looking good! They didn't check me so i have no clue if i've dialated or done anything but just by him feeling on my tummy he said she feels extremely low and has dropped. He asked if i had been having pressure or anything and i told him that i kept having this sharp pain every once in awhile down there and he said that is a big sign that she has dropped really low and probably engaged in my pelvis now, which means we just need to wait for my body to start having contractions. I've also been having this cramping in my innner right thigh and he told me it's probably from my pelvis "seperating" somewhat. Which i was glad to find out because it's like getting a cramp in your calf muscle but in your thigh which i never had before when i was pregnant with my son so i had no clue what was going on. I'm so ready and so nervous all at the same time. We have been in our new house for only 2 months and we've been fixing everything up because it's an old house and i want it to look nice when people come over to see the baby. Soooo my husband decided he wanted a flat screen to put over the fire place so my living room looks like a mess, he has stuff everywhere and my yard doesn't look any better from the stuff we're trying to do out there. Hopefully we can make some big progress tomorrow especially if one of our parents watches our little boy, it's just driving me crazy because i want everything done and perfect for when she gets here!
