03-6-2009 - 36 weeks...appt and a BIG SHOCK!!!

My mood while writing this blog: in shock!

36 week pic is up and i put one up too as i was having a contraction...pretty cool!!!

just got back from my 36 week appt. gained 5 lbs :[ and my BP was a little high. the nurse takes out her little chart thingy and tells me that i'm not quite 36 weeks so they'll be checking me next week instead of this week...i say ok and then realize, WAIT i'm 36 weeks TODAY! so she looks again and says i was right and she was off a few days...IDIOT, you better check me cause i had myself all prepared haha!!! so i go in and wait for doc to come in. he tells me he's happy that i made it further than i did with my daughter and BELIEVE me, so am i! so he measures me and then checks my cervix...i'm expecting like MAYBE 1cm...so he says, 'um, i'm surprised you're not in LABOR!' i'm like, 'WHAT' and he tells me i'm 3CMS!!!! i'm like, 'you're kidding, right?' and he says, 'i would never kid about that!' so he tells me that he'll see me next week...IF I MAKE IT!!! i didn't even get to ask if i was effaced or anything cause i was in total shock! he must be soooo low cause i feel like he barely stuck his fingers up there!, but he said that he tried not to stir things up! i left practically shaking and now i have soooo many emotions running through me! i'm also so happy that i decided to do the progesterone shots cause if i would have not done them, i would have def gone early again! now i guess i just sit and wait to see what happens! this is all so crazy and scary and awesome!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!
