10-6-2009 - 37 weeks...starting it off with a bang!!!

WOW! starting this week of with a bang*** had my 37 week check yesterday and it started off awesome! I LOST 2 LBS IN 1 WEEK YAY...yes i said LOST!!! so after that good news the nurse takes my pressure and says it's high, so she takes it again and says it's still high and to see what the doc says and that he may want me to go to L&D and get checked out. so he comes in and checks my cervix and says that i'm dilated to 4 CMS and that he wants them to take my pressure one more time and if it's still high i have to go to L&D. well, of course it is and off we go! i knew that it was gonna be a waste of time cause i wasn't spilling any protein in my urine or having any of the symtoms of high pressure, which if i was, i prob would've been induced! so we get to L&D and they hook me all up and guess what??? my pressure is completely normal UGH! so i lay on the 'cement slab' in the triage area that they call a stretcher and suffer for like 2 hours, only to get discharged! i stayed home from work today cause we got home pretty late and i was soooo tired and just sore all over, but i'll be returning to work tomorrow BOO! so, i can't believe that i'm 4cms and NOTHING!!! this little boy is NOT budging and kinda has me nervous that when i finally do go into labor i'll be like 10cms and not even know it!!! so i go again on monday which is good cause it's not too far away, and hoping that they start to talk about induction, which would be amazing! labor dust to all and hoping we all get to see our little one's soon, soon, soon!!!
