08-7-2009 - First night in his crib!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

so i decided to blog this cause it was a little too long to write as a message haha! well, jason slept in his crib last night for the first time and did really good!!! i bathed and fed him and he was asleep at 9:30 and then woke up at 1:30 to eat and then again at 4:00 to eat and poop haha and then again at 7:00! he's really good about not crying when he wakes for his nighttime feedings, he just makes little noises and sucking sounds, so i was a bit nervous that i wasn't gonna hear him, but i did hehe! he also goes right back to sleep after his feedings, which my daughter NEVER did in the beginning...it would take me awhile to get her back to sleep and she cried ALOT. he's just such a different baby than she was...so much more content...so it looks like i may be packing up the bassinet, but i'll give it a few days just to see how he does ;)

for all the mommy's that are nervous about putting their babies in their cribs, the longer you wait the harder it will be. i want him to get used to being in his crib cause i am NOT one for having my kids sleep in bed with me. my daughter has been in her crib since she was about 5 or 6 weeks old and NEVER once slept in bed with us. believe me there were nights that i thought about it, but never gave in and now i'm so happy i was strong and held my ground! she is an amazing sleeper and on a strict schedule, which i also believe in. she's bathed and in bed by 7:30 every night and sleeps ALL night and also takes a nap EVERY day at 12 till around 2 or 2:30!!! i hope to get him to be the same, but only time will tell! to everyone who does not see my views, these are only my opinions and i am NOT knocking anyone who co-sleeps or anything, so please, this is not meant to be offensive! i wish everyone luck in whatever they are trying to accomplish with their little ones! time truely does fly and i'm trying to cherish every moment!!!
