12-5-2009 - pregnancy sex??

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

im sure there are ppl with this problem.....does ur husbands seem to not be so interested in having sex with you the further you are along in your prgnancy..we used to have sex all the time now its down to like once a week..for what reasons do they do that?? does anyone out there have any advise for me..

we had this problem all throughout the 2nd trimester,... i couldnt understand why he wasnt feeling sexual to me so i questioned him for months on end and it basically came down to him wanting to protect me and the baby... weird... our sex now is once a week and i mean sometimes twice... but we were having sex at least every night before i fell pregnant :( soo HUGE change.. things will go back to normal even though they dont seem like they will, sometimes they just want to protect u and make sure u are ok. hope it helps xx

yes yes yes...before I was put on the 'no sex restriction' by my doc my DH was becoming less and less interested. He said it was because he didn't want to hurt the baby...which is understandable because in te back of my mind I was thinking the same thing. Thing is ...i still wanted to feel attractive and now that i'm on the 'no sex' he's doing good making me feel that way...

My hubby wont get near me for the whole pregnancy, not cos he doesnt want to but because hes worried he will cause me to bleed or cause me to go into pre term labour which happens alot with me.
Talk to your other half, im sure hes probably just feeling a little weirded out with a now very prominent 3rd person in the bed lol...it certainly wont be cos he doesnt fancy you anymore. Not long to go now before you can get back to nookie without a bump in the way! :)

maybe he is afraid to hurt the baby or he is consious that there is a child while he does that private thing. you should talk to him. not angrily just ask him why
