13-5-2009 - now im single with only a month to go

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

well it turns out my fiance wants to leave me alone to raise or daughter..he told me last night that he knows hes gonna be an alcoholic like his dad and that he knows he wont be a good father..i know that he just doesnt want to work and provide for his family all he wants is to hang out with his friends who cant stay out of trouble and play video games all day..he wanted this baby she wasnt an accident and now he wants to leave me to be mom and dad..i told him i was gonna get child support and he said he just wont have a job..hes only been like this for about a month he wants me to find someone better..i just dont know y he waits til the last second to tell me all this??

Selfish shit! Guys seem to become terrified at the thought of having to grow up and be responsible with the first baby, but hes a coward and he will miss out on so much. You would be better off without him, but i understand what a scary thought that can be. The fact he planned this child with you makes it even more unforgivable on his part. Im sorry your happy ending is going sour. Be strong, this baby needs you and i believe you'll be a FAB mummy. You'll never be alone, you and baby will always have each other....hes the one that will end up alone xx

I would just make sure you're around a good support system, you're going to want some help with the little one. But, dealing with alcoholism in my sibling and spouses' family, you're probably better of, better he disapoints you now and you have time to prepare rather that disapointing you and your child later. You can get through it and be fine, because with alcoholism, you never just drink, either you're abusive, neglective, cheating, or any number of other things. If he's not willing to make an investment, you and your child shouldn't either. Best of luck and lots of prayers

I loved being a single parent to my daughter not having to share her with anyone.. It's pretty sucky he did that to you though.. I hope he's just scared and once he sees that precious little girl he'll wake up and beg to be part of her life and yours
