28-10-2009 - Preg update - placenta previa

I got my flu shot & H1N1 shot too! Felt cruddy for about a day afterwards. I am going to the Dr. every 2 weeks now. They told me I had a low lying placenta a couple weeks ago. Now they are telling me it is placenta previa. It is only partially blocking the birth canal but they say it wont go back up now. I will have to have a c-section. That's scary to me. I haven't had any more bleeding or anything since the vanishing twin. They just found the placenta previa on a routine ultrasound. My next apt is Nov 3rd. I am still doing ultrasounds every month but the Dr wants to up them to every two weeks. Still due on 12/25/09 but they will likely take it early to avoid me going into labor w/ the previa.
