My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Today my midwife called in and did a home visit to discuss my birth plan. Basically she went through in some detail what will happen before, during and after my c-section. It was quite interesting and definitely eased my mind as i wasn't sure what to expect.

I also had all my checks and baby is only measuring at 35 weeks!!!! I explained about having more mucus over the last few days and feeling constantly wet down below, and i told her about having contractions the other night that lasted an hour with 5 minute intervals AND i questioned the loose stool issue that i've been having (apparently it's a sign of inpending labour).

So she was concerned about the whole wetness thing as my hind waters could have broke so she made me an appointment at the hospital to have an examination.

Had my examination and my waters may have broke but they couldn't be sure, that may be the reason why i'm only measuring at 35 weeks!!! On the plus side i am definetly loosing my mucus plug, bit by bit YAY!!!! There is no sign that i'm dilating but with second pregnancy's sometimes you don't when labour starts it progress very quickly.

I have another scan either tomorrow or Friday to check the amniotic fluid and i suppose we will take it from there!!!!! My midwife thinks that i may go into labour earlier than my c-section date and if i do to go straight to labour ward and they will do it then and there!!!!!! She even said there is a strong possibility that i could go into labour as soon as the weekend!!!!!!! Even if nothing come's of all this still only 18 days to go :)
