18-11-2008 - 18 weeks and 4 days - Ultrasound

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So we went in for our BIG ultrasound today to make sure baby was healthy and to also find out the sex of our baby. Well, baby did no want to spread wide eagle and my belly button was covering up the private parts. The tech lady tried everything to get the baby to shift/move and the baby moved but still was being covered by my belly button. So unfortantatly we could not find out if our beautiful baby is a boy or girl. We got to see everything else though and all was healthy and looked great. Heartbeat was 158 this time. Measured 10 ounces. I will post some pics, I got 9 of them! We are very happy that everything looked good and normal, I guess it was just meant to be that we not know the sex of our child until April!! The ultrasound lady said I may not have another ultrasound unless I run into some sort of problems or I am measuring too big or small down the road. That is fine with me, I think it was all meant to be that we not know. It will be an amazing surprise the day we deliver!! So we have a lot to look forward too.
