My mood while writing this blog: happy |
I am working on a baby registry on Babys R Us and am not really sure what to put on there. I have all the big ticket items already like a crib and stroller/carseats and what not. I know I could always use extra burp rags and diapers, but I am not sure what to put on there. I have been poking around on the website and putting things on there I think are cool. I am just looking for some suggestions or ideas of things I "must have". I will also be working one up for Target. So anyone who might have some good ideas for me lay it on me!!
Thanks ladies!!

Monday, 1 Jun I think jamie n the rest of the ladies pretty much stated the essentials. Other than the bedding for the crib, a baby swing, and/or play yard can't really come up with anything else. I put the vibrating lil bouncy chair when he's a new born, a stand up bouncer for when he's a few months, and the swing so that might be too much but i just saw i got em all :). Only thing I'm missing is the super expensive baby monitor :( n the shower is saturday but u know what put EVERYTHING u want cause Babies r us told me that w.e they don't buy you u get a percentage off when u purchase it yourself but i think it has to be before the due date so take advantage of that...take care princessw -
Monday, 1 Jun Just a few suggestions. Maybe a diagper genie for those "not so fresh" diapers!! Maybe a bottle warmer too. My sister was also telling me about a baby shower that she was invited to and some of the registry included stuff for the mom to be. It's true because a lot of people forget that the mom needs some things after delivery as well. She said there were things like pads, nursing pads, slippers...just stuff like that. preggershappy -
Monday, 1 Jun Boudreaux's Butt Paste!!! Um, lets see... I put towels, washcloths, burp rags, J&J bath washes & etc., Dr. Brown's bottles (for after nursing), monitors, boppy pillow, bumbo, pacifiers, wipes, diapers, onesies, gowns, etc. There is so much "non" necessary items, but are intended to just make life EASIER! Saturday, 30 May I would try and register for a lot of differently priced items, that way even if they are getting a small gift they are getting what you want (you can always return and put it toward big ticket items). sheets, blankets, bottles, binkies, diaper bag, car seat toys (toys r us has a really cool one that makes kind of chime music with movement that isn't annoying), I got the really nice car seat padding and warm covers for winter last time and loved them , hope this helps BlackRussian -

Friday, 29 May If you know a lot of people will buy from online that is good, but if they will go to the store to buy your gift, you will want to register at the store. They have a lot of things that are online that aren't in store and vise versa. Plus, when you walk around the store you will get to see it in person to know if you will like it and want it. They have a lot of neat little things that I put on my register, like the head rest for the car seat, a piddle paddle, etc. I would say, bottles, sleepers, towels, baby bath, lotions, body wash, medicine kit, bibs, breastfeeding things, or formula, toys, exosaucer, diaper bag, sling, books, recieving blankets... I could go on and on. Just take a stroll around the stop and scan you heart out! It really is fun! Gigantor -
Friday, 29 May I practicly registered for the same things as the ladies mentioned, but on the comment line I entered: "gift card are welcome!"
That way you can always by what you need (larger diapers, formula, etc.) jamie79 -
Friday, 29 May I also registered at babies r us. The things i wanted the most were a diaper bag, bottles, pacifiers, baby bath, baby monitor, blanket and recieving blankets, im also going to breastfeed so i registered for milk bags and stuff for that. I registered for a stroller, swing, packnplay (which i think is a must! i love them), and bouncer. other than that, those are the things i needed the most. hope you get lots of good stuff! Tia.M -
