19-6-2009 - Yeah for the weekend! 33 weeks today :o)

My mood while writing this blog:

I am so glad that this week is finally over. I have about 1 more month until I go on maternity leave and I can harldy wait. I am so ready to get out of this place. On a postitive note I think I will actually be getting paid for my maternity leave. I emailed the HR dept and asked them what I needed to do and she sent me a packet of papers to have my dr fill out and me fill out. I haven't read really far into it yet but after glancing through it, it looked as so I will be put on sick leave/disability or something like that so I think I will be getting partial pay checks or something. What a blessing that would be! It also said I could use vacation time for the days they wouldn't pay out so I will have 2 weeks and 2 days to burn up and I am pretty much planning on not coming back to work for long if not at all once my maternity leave is over with so I might as well burn it up. Use it or lose it is company policy on vacation time. Anyways, I am taking off from the office and ready for the weekend. I am getting my windows tinted on my car which I am excited about. That is my early birthday present from Jason!! I am excited. Cannot believe I am 33 weeks today too. I feel HUGE!! Time has been flying by. Can't wait to meet my sweet little girl <3

Oh yes I had to fill out some papers as well. I don't know if it's the same thing but mine was short term/long term disability application and once you deliver your Doctor defines your condition therefor qualifying you for either one(I think short term is 4 weeks while long term can be up to 8 wks depends on whether u have C section or any special circumstance). It takes up to two wks to become effective so HR told me as soon as baby's born they start on my vacation time while application is being considered. I'm going to send mine in as soon as the Dr writes his comments cause God knows I need it. Oh yea the one they offer here is for 60% of your pay. I'm not counting on it since I don't know for how long it will cover but I'm def praying that it goes thru n I get some help. GOOD LUCK :)

Getting paid maternity is the best thing ever! When I had my first two, I gots nothing. But with Garren I got 13 weeks paid at 100% and it was awesome to be home for 3 months with him and still getting a full paycheck!

have a good weekend! i just went out with a girlfriend of mine,we went and saw that new sandra bullock movie the proposal @ galazy in monroe then we grabed a bit to eat and went to this pedi party thingy on 1st street in snohomish. My hubby is working at the Mariners game tonight in the beer garden so they can raise $$ for their softball team. so i got my MIL to take the boys for a few hrs and had some early fun! lol our movie was at 2 in the afternoon lol woo hoo crazy girls day/night out!!! lol
