25-6-2009 - Wow 34 weeks tomorrow & my birthday!

Where has all the time gone!?!?! I cannot believe 34 weeks already tomorrow, and it's my birthday. I am still trying to get over the fact that my mom kinda down played me being the center of attention for my baby shower/bday party. I have decided I will just go with it and not say anything to her because she is very non confrontational and I don't want to hurt her. I know she meant no harm and is just excited for everyone to come. Maybe she is will understand one day but who knows. I had my special invites sent out so those people are fully aware that they are coming for me and my baby. And I am sure I will get plenty of gifts. Maybe those extra people will end up bringing gifts too *fingers crossed* LOL

Today I have my dr appt which will pretty much be my 34 week appt. I haven't heard from the dr office yet about any babies being delivered and having to move my appt around but the morning is still young LOL I am going to ask the dr about possibly doing another ultrasound to see how big the baby is or if he can tell. I have been measuring ahead that last 2 appts and the dr says I could just be having a bigger baby which would probably make sense since my son was over 8lbs as well as every baby pretty much born into my mom's side of the family. My uncle was even so big for my grandmother they had to put my her into labor a couple weeks early. I would like to see Arianna again though. It has been months since my last ultrasound and that was back at 19 weeks, or when they pushed me back the 2 weeks to 19 weeks. I am wondering if I am measuring ahead because I am where I was originally with my due date? But I will probably be late like I was with Isaiah LOL

I don't really know what to do with myself today since I have a 4 day weekend. I suppose I should be getting ready for the party on Saturday because there are plenty of odds and ends that need to be taken care of. I just feel like being a little lazy right now. My dr appt isn't until 3:40pm so that is hours away. Anyways, I am going to figure out something to do. Just wanted to share a little update with you girls.
