| 26-6-2009 - Thanks for all the wonderful birthday wishes :o) | My mood while writing this blog:Excited |
Well today I am 26 and that is kinda exciting because I have always loved my birthday :o) I appreciate all the happy birthday wishes from you wonderful ladies. And then my party tomorrow is very exciting to look forward to. I love having a gathering and being the center of attention for the day. Even though my party is going to be a due babyshower and the fact that I am sharing it with others I will be just fine with that. I will still get presents from many people and the fact that all these people are even coming out will make it special. Also being pregnant with my first little girl is pretty exciting. It's a new chapter in my life. Although I wish I was holding her and showing her off during this party that just gives me another excuse to have another party LOL I am going to take many of your advice and have a "Meet Arianna" party after she is born so then I can have her moment and it will be a little more focused on that instead of all these parties at once.
Also another good bit of news... Most of you know Jason hasn't even been living with me and has only come over part of the week through out this whole pregnancy and that has been hard on us both. Well he is finally moving in!! He turns in his keys at the old place July 15th and will be here. This will relieve so much stress as far as bills and just being able to be under one roof. Especially since our little girl is going to be here REALLY SOON! I am really excited things are falling into place and it is such a weight lifted off my shoulders.
Had my dr appt yesterday and once again I waited an hour to see the doc for a few minutes. At least he didn't get called to deliver a baby this time. I didn't get a chance to ask about the ultrasound because he seemed really hurried and also I had Isaiah there and the doctor had to do another test down there LOL It was so awkward having Isaiah in the room trying to ask the dr what he was doing down there with that Qtip and asking if he could help. My son is at the age where I don't like changing in front of him anymore because he says things like "Ew mom your butt get some clothes on" and laughs at me a little when he says it, like he is teasing me or something LOL So other than that awkward dr moment everything was good. Isaiah did get to help put the monitor on my belly to listen to Arianna's heart beat, which was nice and strong. He didn't say anything about how I was measuring this time but said I am doing great. I did get to turn in my maternity leave paperwork to them so they could fill it out and fax it over to my HR dept. I am anxious to hear how much I might be getting, assuming I am getting it, since I wasn't expecting anything at all.
So I better get to cleaning and I have to set up the pool for the party! I am excited for it and have a lot of prep to do. Hope you all are doing well and have a fabulous weekend! Thanks again for the warm wishes.
That is too funny about your son and wanting to help with the swab. I am also glad to hear things are going well for you and that you will have Jason moving in with you I am sure that takes a huge weight off your shoulders.
