07-7-2009 - Just some updates

I have been really busy this last week with work and with the 4th of July weekend being back to back with my birthday party/baby shower weekend, plus work has been busy during the days so I haven't had much time to get on here and check up on my girls and whats going on with them. I have been trying my best to stay in touch and respond but sometimes it's over whelming with so many messeges to read through and respond to and then trying to read everyone's blogs... It's a lot. Then I was sick last week on Thursday and was just so out of it. I must've had some flu bug or something because I felt awful and couldn't keep anything down and my boss let me go home a bit early. I went home and slept from about 5:30pm til the next morning around 8am, so I must've slept it off.

Our 4th of July went well. We blew off fireworks and BBQ'd and kept it simple and small. It was so friggin hot and I was wishing I had my pool set up at the time so I could cool off but I was concerned since we were lighting off fireworks in the backyard by it, it might get burned or something. And boy am I glad we took it down because that pool would for sure have ended up with a hole or two. Plus we hadn't set it up very well the first go around so this time we will spread it out better to prevent leaking and overflows LOL Other than that we didn't do much else over the weekend except sit around and be hot.

My dr appt yesterday went well. I didn't have to wait very long since I was only seeing the nurse practitioner again. She said I am measuring up perfectly and my BP was great as usual. Little Arianna's heart rate was nice a strong as well. She was going over the notes and as of last visit I guess she is head down, which I didn't even realize but the dr had noted it. I asked if I'd be getting another ultrasound and she said there was no reason to so that was kind of a bummer but oh well. I will see her in real life soon enough. I had only gained 1lb since my last visit putting my total at about 28lbs, which I am super happy about since I have been working hard at not over doing it on the eating front. My bacteria cultures came back great as well. I also asked about my birth plan and how I wanted to write it out and give them a copy so they would all know what I wanted or needed when it came time to give birth. So the appt went well.

Other than that things are pretty mellow. I had a disappointing discovery when helping Jason move in some of his stuff and I was a little depresesd for a few days but I am over it. Just something from his past I didn't really care to learn about type of deal and there wasn't much room for me to be upset about it really. It's kind of complicated but it was a little sad. I am just so glad to finally have him with me under the same roof. It saved me some money on rent this month as well! Work sucks but that will soon be over with. Including today, I have 14 days left until I go on maternity leave and I couldn't be more excited. It's like a new chapter of my life starting and it is something I am very much looking forward to. I feel more relaxed in my life and everything that is going on around me and that is very comforting.
