03-8-2009 - Hoping to make some progress towards labor

My mood while writing this blog: ok

So I have still been feeling like I am not going to pop anytime soon. But then I have moments like last night where I am thinking is this labor? I woke up in the middle of the night with terrible acid reflux and then after I fixed that I started having terrible terrible back pain. While I was having the back pain I was having what seemed like contractions but maybe they were more like braxton hicks? Im not sure. There wasn't a lot of pain in the front but it could've been cancelled out by the extreme amount of back pain I was dealing with. Maybe back labor as I have heard some call it? Either way I hope that this means there is something going on with my body so when I have my dr appt on the 5th he will tell me I have dialated or something!! People at Jason's work saw me on July 25th and said I didn't look that big at all and was I not due til October!?! but as a joke. I definitely don't feel less pregnant or that small. And just because I may have gained less weight than their wives or am carrying differently doesn't mean they should make jokes about me having a midget or something or say there is no way I could be due this week. I know it was all in good fun but at this point I don't want to hear any jokes! I am not laughing nor want to be poked fun at right now. Anyways, I didn't really take it to heart but just don't care to hear it ya know. We have all said there are many things you just don't say to pregnant women.

So our weekend was actually pretty nice. We went over to my dad's house Saturday for dinner which is always soooo wonderful since I think he is an amazing cook! We just relaxed and visited and ate of course. Then yesterday my good friend invited me over to cook for us and hang so of course I took the offer not wanting to cook myself and enjoyed her company. He neice came over who is so adorable and she kept thinking I was her mom and was clinging to me. I have similar features to her real mother so she must've felt really comfortable with me LOL she actually called me mama at one point. Ohhh but it made me want my little girl sooo badly. Just to imagine my little girl toddling around like that made me gush inside. I know she will be here so soon, just wish it was sooner. I am trying to be very patient but I am ready for her now.

Other than that I am feeling pretty good and energized today so I am going to get some things done around the house. Not much longer til I am due but who knows when Arianna will decide to come.
