| 14-10-2009 - Arianna is 2 months old & had to get her shots! More updates as well... | My mood while writing this blog:ok |
Yesterday I had to take her in, on her 2 month birthday too, to get her shots. Ugh it broke my heart to hear her cry. I swear she didn't even cry that hard when she first came out! Afterwards she calmed down pretty well and did great the rest of the night. She actually drank almost a 9oz bottle and then I gave her a nice warm lavender bath and lotioned her up with lavender lotion. Then she went to sleep for the whole night like she has been with little to no fussing before she fell asleep. It was so cute at the dr. office Isaiah was being such a wonderful big brother. He was so concerned his little sister was getting shots he asked if we could skip the shots and leave because he didn't want to see her get poked. Then when she started crying he covered his ears and left the room LOL He said he didn't like to see the nurse hurting her. I explained to him it was a good thing for her to get shots but he still didn't like the idea.
On another note, Isaiah is doing very well in Kindergarten. He had started a new school a couple weeks ago when I came back to work and it's full day Kindergarten instead of only a couple hours a day. He is also back at his old daycare for before and after care and with his friends again. He has only had a couple of problem days but overall his behavior is good. He has always struggled with testing the waters whenever he gets a new teacher or authoritative type person telling him what to do. His new school automatically puts the kids on a behavior chart and gets updated daily so I can see if he was good or not. I like it.
More good news!! We found a house for rent and it's only 5 minutes from my work and the kids school/daycare. The rent is managable and its got 3 bedrooms so I will finally get to make my little girl her own room! I am soooooooo excited because I didn't get to do that while I was pregnant. It has a nice fenced in backyard too and a fireplace :o) We should be moving in the end of this month. This will cut out the long ass commute I was doing everyday. I will no longer have to fight traffic and deal with insane people on the freeway everyday. I was driving about 45min-1hour one way and now my morning commute will be in town and only about 30min max! I will get home earlier too and be able to run home on my lunch hour if needed. So much stress taken off my shoulders.
Hope all of you ladies are doing well and congrats to all those who just gave birth, labor dust to those about to pop and good luck to those TTC!
