I never knew until I had a child how special it was going to be. Motherhood is the best thing that has ever happened in my life. To give birth to someone that's been growing in your belly for 10 months is amazing. The very first time you see your child is a time you will never forget.

My son is going to be one in August. I've watched my little man grow from a baby into a toddler. I have never felt more loved and more wanted until my son. He is my main man and will always be at my side.

Here are some things that are so great in my opinion:

Seeing my son wake up. He stands up in his crib and starts to dance.
Having my little man reach out for me when he wants his mom.
To see him get sooo excited when I get home from work.
To watch him and see his personality really come out.
Hearing him laugh at the silliest things.
Cuddling with him at night before I put him in his crib.
Knowing that I'm the one he depends on to help him grow.
Most important the love that I feel from my son. IT'S THE BEST FEELING EVER.

So tell me how could a mother or a father not want anything to do with something so special? How could someone harm a young child? How and Why? I guess I will never understand this at all. My son is my world and I'm willing to hurt someone over that.

This is why I love being a mother.
