My mood while writing this blog: In LOVE with my baby!

Molly turned One on Octobet 29th!!! I cant believe how fast this year has gone by. Its been the most amazing year of our lives. Filled with Love and Joy. Molly is such a great baby. I just cant get enough of her!

She weighs 18 pounds and is 29 inches long. Still a peanut! She got her flu shots today. She did great! But I still hate to see her in pain :( She had her first fever and ear infection 2 weeks ago. I was also sick with a sinus infection. It was a rough 10 days on the couch watching baby einstein. they put her on antibiotics and I got her some garlic ear drops for the pain...along with the motrin. I'm so happy she is better now! With all the sickness going around, I decided to put her on probiotics to help with her immunity.

She is still nursing 4 times a day. Still will not drink much of anything else. She will sip water and a little milk but not enough to take the place of her boobie snacks. I want to start weaning her from her daytime nursings so that I can work longer during the day. Thankfully I work for my dad so I can leave if I need to go nurse her. I will keep nursing her at night and in the morning for as long as she wants it. I love the quiet quality time and she loves her milk. I still have not gottem my period!!!! I love that part of nursing :) Its been almost 2 years!!!!

The doctor said that Molly is ahead with her speech. She says mama, dada, grampa, moo, baba,bobo, meow, oh oh and some others. She tries to repeat everything we say. She now blows kisses....it melts my heart. She puts both hands on her mouth and says muaaa. And she gives her babies kisses too. She is in love with her babies right now. She will sit and play with them for an hour all by herself. Her favorite toy is her shapes and color puzzle. She takes them all out and knows where they go. Sooo smart! It amazes me. She pickes one up, looks around at the puzzle and knows exactly where it goes. And it was a 3+ year puzzle. She knows some sign language...more and all done. We are very attached since she was sick. Now she cries when I leave the room. Such a mamas girl!

She is not walking yet, but she is getting good at walking down the couch and letting go once in awhile. She seems to little to walk....but I cant wait to see her on the move!

We are having her birthday party this weekend, we had to cancel last week because we were sick. And we will be taking her one year pictures with her cake this week!!! I will post pictures.

Well, I could go on and on as usual but she is amazing and we enjoy every moment with her.

Molly sounds so sweet and smart! good job mommy! Shayla loves her baby dolls too! everytime she sees a baby she says "AWWW" loli got my period back when shay was 6 months and i'm still nursing too! no fair! haha

Happy b-day, Molly!! :) Eric and I are still nursing, too, and I feel the same way as you do ~ I will continue to nurse him (at least in the morning and at night) as long as he wants :)

Aww Amy. You're such a good Mommy. I can't believe you are still nursing! That is AMAZING! I hope I am able to do that with the next one. I LOVED nursing Adriana while it lasted :( And NO period - I'm jealous! I'm glad you guys are feeling better! xoxo
