29-8-2008 - Final Amnio results

My mood while writing this blog: thankful

Well, after waiting and calling and waiting....I got my results. Everything is fine!! Thank goodness. They told me the full report would be ready in 10-14 days, if I didn't hear anything call them. Well, I didn't hear so I called and was told they would call as soon as they got them. Waited another day. Called again was told this time that she would check and get back to me. Never got back to me. Soooo today i called again. The girl checked my chart and the results were there. I was near panic. Very stressful.

So today was a great day. my little girl, my baby turned ONE and I got good news on my results. So what's next?? I don't want to know haha

That is awesome. I was just busy explaining or trying to convince my friend who also had a ds pregnancy that it is unlikely that it will happen again. I had my cvs and it came back negative for ds so I am banking on those results being right. Anyway what a relief for you, well done
