After 13 hours of labor I would like to introduce my new baby boy Liam Russell. He weighed 5 lbs 7 oz, is 18.5 inches long and is doing pretty well. He did have to go to NICU and was doing some grunting. They had to intubate him to give him some surfactant but were able to remove the tube afterwards. His apgar scores were 8 and 9 and other than the grunting he was doing really well. He is currently on a ventilator but they think he should be off in a day or two. Please keep him in your prayers.

Wow! That was fast! Congratulations to you. :-) I hope you and your little one don't have a very long hospital stay. I can't wait to see pictures after you recover. I bet he's adorable!
