16-7-2008 - Week 16

Well the 14th July morning I had lil man Trystian on the bed on his back, and I walked to get ready for work, and my husband yells for me to hurry in. He says that Trystian rolled from his back to his tummy... I havent seen lil man roll over again to his tummy from his back but it's not saying that he didnt do it that one time. As it is, he rolled over from tummy to back starting last week. Now he is still trying to learn and figure out exactly how he did it to begin with. I put him on his tummy now, and he has been doing great at doing his mini push ups and his head is way up and he is seemingly happy! That's a great thing to have Trystian on his tummy and him enjoying it. But he rolled from tummy to back this morning the 16th once and then when I put him back on his tummy he had fun for a whole like 4 more minutes and then had it and I let him fuss a little bit hoping he would roll back over on his own, but after about 3 mins of fussing turning into a full out cry and angry baby, I swept him up and held him to calm him down. It seems he can roll over but once he's had it, well he's had it!!!!! We will make progress like we already are!

Oh and Trystian can sit with support... I'm unsure of the actual date, but he's been able to for about a month now. This past 2 weeks tho, I can put a pillow or boppy or something behind him and he will sit nice for a SHORT time and then flop to the front or either side... He's doing great tho!

Stands on his legs great!!! you just have to hold his hands, and he will do the REST!!! Just put him on his feet, he will push up and hold himself up forever! looking around, holding your hand, or finger and he will balance himself and hold him self up for quite a while!!!

I love my lil man and I'm so proud of him! He smiles all the time when he sees me, and Tony... He flirts with almost any girl standing near him!!! He's definately going to be a ladies man!!
