18-4-2009 - Sleeping Patterns Reversed???

My mood while writing this blog: Weak

Last night was another one of those nights. I was wide awake until 4 a.m. I think I finally fell into a decent state of sleep by 5. Now that the rest of my family is up, I feel like I was yanked out of REM sleep and don't want to move and they are ready to start their Saturday and have some fun. I don't think even a shopping spree could snap me out of this feeling.

Yesterday I was the same way. I was awake or rather in an aware state of rest all night and then just felt too exhausted to do much of anything all day long. It does not help that I am on bed rest so I can't do much anyways that does not consist of some form of resting. I wonder if this has something to do with it? I do not know what I am going to do when Spring Break is over and I have to be up at 6 to get my son ready and take him to school.

My first pregnancy I never really made it this far before I was in the hospital and drugged out of my ever loving mind so this part of pregnancy is a new experience for me. I certainly hope it gets better. Being sleepy is one thing but being nauseous, weak, famished feeling is awful! Not to mention that it seems no one believes me because I am normally such a fiesty person that is full of energy. Seeing me like this is a bit hard for some to swallow. My Mom called me yesterday and I didn't even have it in me to speak on the phone for a few mins. "Leave Me Alone" is my new mantra it seems.

I hate even hearing myself gripe and groan like this. Pfft. Ok I'm done.
