| 16-7-2009 - 37.5 week appointment |  My mood while writing this blog:Hopeful |
Contractions kept me up almost every 30 mins last night so I got up really tired today.
I went to my appointment at 11:15 and found out that I went from being closed last week to 1.5 cm dialated, 80% effaced and he did a membrane sweep. I have been having contractions every 20 mins since my appointment. I also got an out of the blue episode of diarrhea when I have been having a pattern of being constipated, which I find odd but yet another sign of progress.
My doctor wants to see me again on Tuesday but he is says he is not convinced I will make it that long because once the cervix is thinned out as much as mine, it is very non-resistant to even small contractions and it continues to open. This is what he said anyways. Its all greek to me.
He told me when the contractions get 10 mins apart to head to the hospital since I live about 30 mins away.
I am remaining hopeful.
