13-9-2009 - Ug...well it finally just got too bad...:(

My mood while writing this blog:
TIRED

During ALL 4 of my pregnancies (my first ending at 12 weeks) I had the WORST M/S!!! I mean BAAAAAD. Even the smell of MY OWN deoderant would make me vomit. So when it hit me hard this pregnancy of course I was miserable but not surprised. Friday morning however I woke up OUT OF MY SLEEP to throw up. I know this is gross but it just kept coming!!! I actually thought for a minute that maybe this was the stomach flu or food poisoning, but I knew it wasn't. When I have the stomach flu or food poisoning I have that crampy sour stomach that finds temporary relief after I puke. This was DEFINITELY morning sickness.....you know that serious motion sickness feeling. OH MY!!! I was just in tears hugging the toilet. (ew) I NEVER called my Dr. because of morning sickness before but I just couldn't take it. So I called and my sweet nurse said she could tell just my the sound of my voice I was feeling "junky". LOL! :) So she prescribes some meds which she said might make me sleepy. MAKE ME SLEEPY?? WHAT AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!! HAHAHA! I PASSED THE HECK OUT! I slept ALL day Friday!!! I woke up for dinner and then at about 8 I took another and passed out again. My RLS kept waking me up but atleast I wasn't puking!!! So yesterday I felt REALLY good!! It was nice to have a break you know? Last night I decided NOT to take a pill too see what would happen. Well, my own dumb fault I guess. I woke up okay but then walked into the kitchen to find the dishwasher was running. The smell of the soap made me puke in the sink. WHAT IS GOING ON IN THERE!!!! Maybe I am just being a big wuss!! But I just KNOW that my M/S has NEVER been this bad before!

I keep telling Shawn this MUST be a girl cuz she is causing me grief already! LOL!

Well I will be 10 week tomorrow!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! So I am hoping that the M/S really starts to die down soooooon! :)

So sorry you are having such a hard time! I had severe morning sickness, known as Hyperemisis Gravidarum. I was on Phenergan, Reglan and Zofran!! Zofran was SO fantastic. If it gets much worse, maybe it's something to talk to your doctor about.

Ah yes, while we are TTC we all say that we can't wait to get morning sickness, but then it comes, and does not go away, and we wonder, 'what were we thinking wanting this??' Of course we want the baby, but the sickness we can do without!! Hope you get relief soon!

poor u hope it does die down soon. I was really sick with my first a boy I was like u sick all the time from morning til night and every smell made me sick:( I was not sick at all with my lit girl and this preg I was not sick til around 23 weeks but only 4 a few weeks. it's a boy this time.x

Awh, that really sucks! I only throw up once every couple days, and rarely I'll get the two days in a row treatment, and only one day I threw up two times in one day. I actually worry sometimes, because I hear so many other expecting moms have such worse M/S than me. Either I just have a strong stomach or something, or maybe people really are just THAT different... I don't know, but that thought will randomly pop in the back of my mind "what if the baby isn't as healthy as he/she could be because I'm not as sick as these other moms??" because I always hear that a sick mommy is a healthy baby, so I guess you're in the clear at least! :P

i feel your pain i cant even cook dinner wiht out the smell making me sick. which makes any and all food look grose to me and i am going to be 14 weeks tomorrow. mine got so bad i went to the hospitable!!

Oh no! Sounds really awful, I hope it stops soon. Best to call the nurse if it's getting really bad though, good luck xx
