28-9-2009 - 12.5 weeks: updates

My mood while writing this blog: SICK!

It's strange to think that in about 3 days I will be 13 weeks!!! OFIICIALLY in my second trimester! It is SUCH and exciting milestone. I sure wish my M/S would hit the road though!!! :( It started getting a lot better last week but this past week it has been worse than ever! :( I am hoping that things start going a little smoother from here as well.

With all the stress and what not, I have gotten 2 FMS flares. When I get a flare my blood pressure goes up ( I have to check it often because I suffer from high BP anyway. Fortunately I am a case where I DON'T have to take meds during pregnancy because for some reason my BP usually evens out and sometimes even goes a little low. Weird.) My Dr. says as long as it goes back down we are okay but if it stays high longer than a full day and going into the second or my tingling and numbness get worse I need to go in right away. FMS is so dumb and I am SOOOOO over it. Unfortunately it is something I have to deal with. ALL my doctors and I are hopeful that the hormone relaxin that is produced during pregnancy will help me during most of my pregnancy but know that the third trimester may cause some serious pain issues...(but come on!! What pregnant woman in their 3rd trimester DOESN'T HURT!!!???) LOL!

As far as Shawn and I go, there is definitely alot of work ahead of us. We fought ALL day yesterday and he tried "taking off" again. I cried but said "if you go DON'T COME BACK!!!" We have NEVER had one of those on again off again relationships and I am NOT about to start now. I told him if he wants to bail everytime we argue now then bye! He always used to tell methat leaving is never an option but this last week he took of for 3 days starting Monday and then tried doing it again yesterday. Well He came home. I got me and my son ready and headed to my ex-father in laws house for my daughters SUPER late b-day party. It was so wonderful! It was nice to get out and go some place where I feel welcome. Dustin (my ex and his family are so good to me. It really made me miss them.) So when I got home I told Shawn that there is alot of work we have to do and I will settle for no less than hard work on BOTH of our parts. We ended up having an amazing night. Nothing special just alot of alking about EVERYTHING. We haven't done that in years. So hopefully things continue on that path.
