19-12-2009 - Bummed about my weight gain...:/

My mood while writing this blog:
annoyed!

When I was pregnant with Keiley my starting weight was 131 and I gained 22 lbs total. I dropped ALL my baby weight FAST PLUS an extra 10 lbs!!!

With Tiernan, my pre-preg weight was 122 and I gained a total of 25 lbs. It took about a year to fully come off, and then before we knew it we were pregnant again! LOL :)

With Charlie (this baby) my pre-pregnancy weight was 123..........well I weighed myself today (which I haven't done since my last Dr.'s appt.) and was absolutely SHOCKED to find I have ALREADY gained 23 lbs. and still have 3 months to go!!!!!!!!! I am only 5 feet tall so 23 lbs really is alot ESPECIALLY when I am only 1 lbs lighter right now than I was at TIernan's BIRTH!!! Well I blame Shawn and his sweet tooth that he passed along to my child!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! I never eat ding dongs and donuts and crap, but for some reason they are all I want! :/ I guess a diet of ding dongs and cutie pies will pack on the extra weight. It looks like I am in for a long road of discipline and hard work after the baby is born!! :)

Oh well! As long as baby is happy and healthy I will gain 100 lbs if I have too!!! HAHA!

I'm sure a lot of your sweet tooth has to do with the time of year, too. I've been so much worse since Thanksgiving. Something about all the baked goods that's soooooo hard to say no to this time of year! Haha!

Don't stress yourself over it! Weight is just a number and this pregnancy is a good time in life to not feel guilty about the weight. I am 5'2" and during my pregnancy I went from 116 to 169. I am comfortable at 126 and have been here for about a year. Don't even worry about weight until after baby is born! You could get lucky and your weight is mostly water weight - it will melt right off without much work!

girl please lol i gained over 60 pounds with Jude and its almost been a year and im still 15 lbs from my goal weight lol!!! stop worrying, you have barely gained a thing and its a very normal amount..nothing like my 60 lbs lol!!!!

Girl! I can't believe you even weigh that much! You freaking carry your weight really well. You are tiny. I am 5 ft tall too and 103lbs and I would have sworn you are in the 90lbs starting weight. You are hot! :-) Don't worry what the scale says....I gained 65lbs preggo.

AW sweetie, I know that its so hard for us as women not to get caught up with our weight. I too am very short (5'1) and each pregnancy I gain approx 30lbs. Well Ive currently gained 25lbs myself so you are not alone.... Everything will be fine. Love ya sweetie. You look amazing so don't beat yourself up ok

i put 4 stone on with my first pregnancy so i wouldnt worry about it! your weight sounds like a tiny amount compared to what i put on. i only stepped on the scales once at the end of my pregnancy! its better that baby stocks up on what he/she needs and comes out healthy.

I'm 4'10 ([pre-preg weight 92lbs) and I've gained 23 pounds. I'm in the 26th week so I think it is about the same type of weight gain considering I'm shorter. You obviously have a great metabolism and your body loses the weight fast...I would not worry at all! I would just enjoy...you'll have the summer to sweat it at off. That is what I'm telling myself.

awwww its ok dont be bummed out hun you may have three months to go but look at it this way you are going to have a heathly baby =)
