My mood while writing this blog: IN PAIN!! |
Oh my...oh my ....oh my!!! :( I hurt so bad right now I don't know what to do. For about a month now I have suspected my lil darling Charlie is in the Breech position (pretty normal from what I understand for how far along I am) I get these very painful SHARP kicks so low that it feels like he may fall out. Not only does it hurt but the pressure is intense. Well tonight he must really want to stretch out because that is what he is doing! Every few minutes I get a huge lump being pressed UP into my ribs at the same time I am getting POUNDED down there! ( I am assuming he is stretching straight up and down) Bear in mind I am only 5 ft tall and when not pregnant my torso measures (from bottom of breastbone to belly button) at a WHOPPING 3-3.5 whole inches. My torso is VERY little and he is already squished...as well as all my internal organs. So when he stretches I really feel like I want to cry and scream!!! To make matters worse every time he does it it causes me to have a Braxton Hicks contraction and now my back is killing me...simply THROBBING. I have never experienced this. This is my 3RD baby and I am a mess!! :( Please baby Charlie, please turn a different way! Nothing is helping..standing sitting, squatting, laying down....PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE FANTASTIC!!!!
Love you ladies!!!

Thursday, 21 Jan oh my!! i'm sooo sorry, when i was pregnant with elizabeth i was taking a prenatal yoga class and the instructor helped out if your baby was breech. she would have you do different poses and it helped the baby turn. (it was all very safe, the class was at the hospital) vickiessecret -
Thursday, 21 Jan I'm not short, but my daughter too is still in the breech position..and she kicks me down there too.. it literally feels like she's going to come right out of me. I'm hoping she flips soon too and stays that way. nich-vegas-mommy -
Thursday, 21 Jan I am 5’2” and Chathum turned out to be a big baby – ultra squished in there. He would push his feet into my ribs so much and it was SO painful and was almost constant. A midwife at my doctor’s office suggest sitting in a chair and leaning back with my arms straight up over my head. It really worked for me! He didn’t like the feeling of my stomach getting tight over him so he’d wiggle around and stop with the feet to the ribs. Hope it helps! *dcsfantasticfour -
Wednesday, 20 Jan Ah sweetie I completely understand, I am only 5'1 myself, and let me tell you! My whooha feels like a boxer went 12 rounds on the poor thing and my bottom ribs feel bruised, unfortunatly this is the price we short mommas face. lgk616 -
Wednesday, 20 Jan When I wanted my daughter to move, I found getting on all fours and swaying back and forth helped. She was often in a position where she was kicking/hitting at my cervix and it was like an electrical jolt through me. So getting into this position seemed to move her. Good luck to you! xox BabySaunders -
Wednesday, 20 Jan Hey chica. I know there are some suggestions online about how to flip a breech baby. Thankfully my son has been head down from like 14 weeks. Crazy kid. Have you tried researching it? I know one is to get on your hands and knees with your head low and butt high. Sounds weird I know, but if anything helps I'm sure you'll try it!
