I was looking through my blogs and found this poem I wrote while TTC. I just thought I would repost......It's a rough draft I still haven't finished, but I think you get the point! LOL!
TTC Journey - by Ashley Hammond
I wake up every morning
and the first thing I do each day
Is see what the screen on my BBT
thermometer will display.
Next I kiss my DH hello
and make a bottle for my DS
And as long as I'm past CD6
I go take an OPK test
I play with my beautiful DD
and then I hop on IAP.com
and see if there were any new BFP's
and what else is going on
We can talk about things like CM
or the day that we may possibly O
and we all talk in that special way
that true TTCers will only know
Once that OPK turns dark
and we have BDed then BDed again
we officially enter our TWT
and the waiting game now begins
We check our charts, CM & CP
and buy every HPT in site
and POAS at only 8DPO
KNOWING the time isn't right
Evey twitch tingle and cramp
are analyzed every day
hoping our sore BBs are not just in are heads
and AF keeps her behind away!
Many friendships are formed supporting eachother
in all the TTC trials we all go through
So many laughs tears and questions..
and what would we do without Diane-TakeTwo
Finally the day we have been waiting for comes
praying our TTC journey is through
Will it be a BFN or BFP?
Well good luck and BABY DUST TO YOU!!!
