22-7-2009 - 34 Weeks!

I'm currently working on 35 weeks, but something strange happened yesterday, I had an amazing amount of energy and clean the entire house, made a diaper cake, and got everything else ready for the baby shower this saturday. Yes, that's right my mom and grandmother felt bad about my dad & stepmom canceling at the last minute back in June, so I've helped them prepare one for this saturday. We've invited 45 people, so I'll be happy if 5 show up...hehe. I was up to 3am looking at online programming and design jobs to keep me busy until Grayson comes into this world, it was exciting to wake up to people actually responding to the emails for free lance work. Yay!

Anyways, I went to the doctor yesterday to find out that I will start doing the NST's and cervix checks every weeks from here on out. I'm excited to say the last ultrasound(32 weeks) shows him at 58th percentile and Grayson looked as if he was fully developed. - crosses fingers- A couple of weeks ago they were talking about inducing me early becuase of my prexisting health problems(kidneys), but come to find out they have been working better other then the left kidney the baby sometime sqishes. The doctor made a point to say that if the baby is fully developed there's no point to keep the baby inside becuase of my kidneys, so at 36 or 37(first or second week of August) weeks little Grayson should be here.

Hi. I'm glad things are going as well as possible with Grayson and your kidneys. Such a relief I'm sure...I'm in the same boat with my health and am finally breathing a little sigh of relief myself. That's great about the shower and the free lance work. Keep us informed on how things are going. Best of luck and I'm praying it keeps going good.
