10-5-2009 - Happy Mother's Day

My mood while writing this blog: a little bit of everything

I just wanted to wish all of you mommies out there a very happy mother's day , hope it is a good one for all of you.

so today i have cleaned most of the house as much as my sickness has allowed me too , I had to get my brother to do the dishes since we found MOLD in our sink... which we all know is not safe for the baby , its crazy how fast mold surfaces on moist sticky hot area's. I left the dishes for 2 days and already there is mold growing in some of the food containers that were in the sink , so he has them filled with bleach and placed in the tub , Now I am resting a little since my nausia has returned full boar and will be hopefully resting until I can make dinner for My mother , today being mother;s day it is her day no matter how sick i feel. She told me not to worry about dinner but I can't help but want to do something for her i mean this is the woman who went through 36 hours of labour with me lol, she she can at least have this day to sit down to a nice home cooked meal.

what I am making ,

Pork chops in cream of mushroom soup sauce (made from scratch) with a hint of curry in it
Mashed Potatoes that are very white and fluffy , I always add extra milk and butter to the combination to make them fluffy
And Corn on the cob , with a delicious lemon cream pie home made for dessert. Hmmmm its gonna be soo yummy , I most likely wont be able to eat it since I can;t seem to eat anything solid these days , but I know she will love it , and then its movies till later tonight and then I bring out her all time favorite in the middle of a movie. Shrimp with a yummy tasty garlic and butter baseing... hmmm i wish i could eat shell fish right now i could kill for some shrimp. Maybe I will induldge myself just a little bit , theres no harm in having a few small bites. lol. well I'm off for my nap.
